Event Participant Release and Waiver of Liability Military Officers Association of America’s TotalForce+ Conference

In consideration of my participation in the 2025 TotalForce+ Conference (the "Event"), hosted by the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless MOAA, its officers, directors, employees, members, agents, and affiliates from any and all liability that may arise, directly or indirectly, now or in the future, due to any injury, damage, loss, or expense incurred in connection with my participation in the Event.

I acknowledge that MOAA is not responsible in any manner for the personal actions or decisions of Event participants and that I am solely responsible for my conduct while attending.

I understand that alcohol may be served at the Event. Any consumption or use of alcohol is solely my personal responsibility. Access to alcoholic beverages is entirely optional, and no participant is required or expected to consume alcohol. I understand that neither MOAA nor its affiliates assume any responsibility should I, or another participant, choose to consume alcohol. I further acknowledge the potential health risks and behavioral consequences associated with alcohol consumption.

I agree to hold harmless, indemnify, and defend MOAA, its officers, directors, employees, members, agents, subsidiaries, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, actions, damages, costs, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and litigation expenses, that may arise directly or indirectly from:

(i) my consumption or use of alcohol during the Event;

(ii) my use of any facilities provided by MOAA in connection with the Event;

or (iii) my participation in the Event.

This Release and Waiver of Liability shall be binding on my heirs, executors, administrators, successors, and assigns.

I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS RELEASE AND ENTER INTO IT IN CONSIDERATION OF THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EVENT.
